This was a tasty avo on toast (mushrooms not standard - my addition). I like that they gave me fried tofu slabs instead of the usual scrambled tofu. Tofu was a little under-seasoned which is better than over-seasoned and nothing a dash of salt couldn't fix.
I love the restaurant and make an effort to support these super people.
Pity they still only have 1 vegan menu item (a superb but huge fry-up breakfast) so I don't go much anymore (a favourite when I was vegetarian), as their chef is genius and I can only imagine the vegan dishes he could produce.
Back to the meal I had. I was tasty, the tofu soap had a lovely little crispness on the outside, giving interesting texture and as usual it was pretty and fresh and clean tasting.
By the way, this restaurant always veganise what they can when I ask. This is a fabulous restaurant.
