I heard great things about this burger 🍔 and finally got down to trying it.
It was very delicious and meaty and had vegan cheese. Do specify that you want the vegan version for your order. The patty was a bit dry but that was ok with some sauce, and there were double patties which made it extra satisfying. It was very oily though with oil dripping out of the burger. $18. They also had chilli sauce and a vegan white sauce for dipping but that was quite oily too. I like that they have a lot of vegan options but they could definitely improve a lot on service.
The place was supposed to open at 1, I came at 1+ but it wasn't open properly and I had to go in and call repeatedly at the counter for the cashier to come out. I specified I wanted the vegan burger (luckily he asked!) But when the burger came he realised they accidentally put normal cheese in it and recalled the dish and I waited some time while they made a new one. I'm pretty glad he realised before I ate it though. The Indian music was very loud and I asked for it to be turned down. Also I was concerned that when the cashier first came out from behind the counter he wasn't wearing a mask I asked him to put it on, later he sat at the tables outside and didn't cover his nose with the mask. I really want to support this place and it has good food, but I really think the staff need to do better. #veganin2020
