I *might* have tucked in before remembering to photograph the dish *oops* hence the half-sarmie hidden behind the chips to obscure the big bite out of 🤭
This was a (pleasantly) surprising toasted sandwich filler.
Chickpeas and capsicum in a toastie (various brands to choose from). Choice of chunky chips or salad on the side.
The capsicum is kind of pickled or marinated, giving it a unique tartness that I really liked.
Next time I'll request that they smash the chickpeas tho... Lots of the little critters escaped to live out their life in the patio gang of feral chickpeas.
Simple, tasty, and interesting. I'll get it again.
