Rice bowl topped with fried battered tofu, savoury sautéed mixed mushrooms including shiitake and enoki, edamame soybeans, fragrant crispy roasted rice, pickled daikon radish, shredded chilli pepper, and seaweed. 🍚🍄🟫🫛🌶️ Served with a teapot filled with konbu mushroom sencha dashi (savoury green tea broth) to be poured over the rice bowl. 🫖🍲 I have fond memories of eating ochazuke in Taiwan and Japan in the past, so I was happy to have a vegan version! Wished the tofu could have been seasoned for more flavour, but overall the dish was relatively tasty in a light, clean, and healthy way. Btw they have another vegan main in the menu at Odeon, also with tofu and mushrooms but alongside soba noodles.
