Golden Beauty al Do Qoo 豆趣 — Recensione di dankhx (12 ago 2024)

It’s probably just the name, but that distinct harpsichord intro in The Stranglers’ baroque hit Golden Brown keeps ringing in my head whenever I dig into this.
And it’s fitting. A dessert so whimsical, and colourful as this should be backdropped by such a soundtrack.

The first thing that hits you are these lychee pearls that do the bursty-explody-thingy in yr mouth when you bite on them. There’s a generous scoops of #tauhuay and #grassjelly, osmanthus jelly, wolfberries , purple sweet potato abacus, yam abacus, yellow sweet potato abacus and soy cream.
