Not bad! I like this red-pepper-forward #spread on bread/sandwiches; I imagine it’d also work nicely as a pasta #sauce. The consistency is pretty smooth, with some small #redpepper chunks. It’s not at all spicy, just flavorful (if a little bitter,) and it can be used cold or heated. I don’t taste the #eggplant very much. Actually, the spread is a bit sweeter than I expected, which for me is the only drawback, though some people online have also complained about the bitterness. I think it was just $2.99, which is a great price for this large 12 oz. jar. #ajvar
