Bought from Asda for £.149.
I’ve never understood why cheese was an important part of pesto and without it, I can safely say that the taste does not differ at all. Great vibrant taste and you only need a teaspoon size to pack a punch but quite oily - hence the high fat value per a 1/5 of the jar.
I served it with vegan gnocchi and it marinated well.
Slightly on the salty side but can be diluted down with a little soya cream if needed. Great little jar.
