Free From Green Pesto

This was pesto was just class, I can’t fault it, affordable, delicious and a complete staple in my cupboards. I am glad asda do their own one as it’s fairly cheaper than other brands, I will be re-purchasing this 100%

I like it overall, it’s a valid alternative to the non-vegan green pesto!

Bought from Asda for £.149. I’ve never understood why cheese was an important part of pesto and without it, I can safely say that the taste does not differ at all. Great vibrant taste and you only need a teaspoon size to pack a punch but quite oily - hence the high fat value per a 1/5 of the jar. I served it with vegan gnocchi and it marinated well. Slightly on the salty side but can be diluted down with a little soya cream if needed. Great little jar.

Love this product. So easy to use, takes seconds to make beautiful pasta:) flavour is so fragrant, needs no additional herbs or spices. Quite good value for money as well, 10/10

Tastes even better then ‘normal’ pesto and is relatively cheap
