Sala is apparently a pink artificial syrup reminiscent of palm fruit. Quite pretty and tasted similar to sweet artificial strawberry milk packets from childhood, if that's what you're looking for. This was too artificially sweet for my liking, but I can't blame anyone as I ordered without knowing what sala was haha ($4)

Stir-fried rice noodles with a bit of shredded cabbage and seitan 'meat' (reminiscent of char siew, which seemed out of place). Unfortunately this was a plain, dry, and carb-heavy dish. Would have liked more vegetables like carrot and baby corn, as well as some tofu 'egg' and/or konjac 'prawn'. ($6)

Food In The Woods has been taken over by The Buddha Bowl which claims to be Thai-inspired. Hence, this dish is now named "Pad Mhee Hed Satae" in the menu. Vermicelli in a generous amount of peanut sauce, served with toothsome monkeyhead mushroom satay skewers, konjac cuttlefish, and taupok. Tasty and came with a variety of ingredients! ($6)

Rice was flavourful and the mushrooms were well coated and crispy! Also a good amount of veggies. Would explore more of their olive rice bowls next time

Soft and smooth noodles. There was some wok hei. Comes with small ‘beef’ slices. I think if there was a bit more lime and beansprouts it’ll be even better!

Soy flavour stronger than the tea taste 🤔 Good that it’s not too sweet but on the other hand I also expected sweeter haha. 2nd photo more representative of it’s actual colour!
