If I’m not wrong, this is the only vegetarian stall in Chong Pang, the other one closed down. I don’t think they sell eggs/dairy here so they are completely vegan. Lots of noodles, mock meat and crispy tofu skin. There is not enough veggies tho, and the tofu skin when soaked in the sauce isn’t that crunchy and I’m missing the crunchy texture. The sauce thickness depends on the time you buy and on the day, sometimes it’s Super soupy, sometimes it’s thick, like today. They didn’t give enough chilli too, and it’s not even spicy. The tofu skin and texture of the noodles were the only nice part of this. Sauce has a very strong herbal taste to it and could be a little bitter on some bites. Too much mock meat for my liking, would prefer more veggies. Overall, it’s pretty below average but it’s the only veggie store hence there’s always lots of people queuing. Although, they have other food that are pretty yummy, like their chicken rice which is so realistic (they legit made a “drumstick”). But this was my only option because I didn’t want to eat mixed rice/noodles today. So choose other dishes if you can instead of this.
