Unfortunately I wasn’t too impressed with this restaurant. I had great expectations but it just didn’t live up to them. I really wanted to try it because it was a fully vegan restaurant and from what I saw online it also looked like a very nice place with a sophisticated menu. The place was instead a very small venue, which probably used to be a bar and was turned into a restaurant. No regular tables were available, the only options were sitting at the bar or at some very small tables for 2 people on the same high stools from the bar. The venue looked dated and not well curated, it was very dark but not in a cozy-atmosphere kind of way.
The worst thing for me was how rude the staff was, we never felt welcome and when we mistakenly sat on the wrong table at the beginning we were reprimanded by the hostess, as if we purposely did that and not because she didn’t explain herself clearly enough (or didn’t walk us to the table). Funny thing after we moved away from the table, it stayed empty for the whole duration of our dinner, so I honestly didn’t see the issue of keeping us seated there instead.
But let’s move on to the food. I started my dinner with these arancini which looked super good but ended up being pretty bland and very distant from traditional arancini. They were 10$ so not very expensive, but I just wouldn’t suggest ordering them because of the lack of taste.
