This is just a classic negroni with gin, campari, and vermouth. I liked the orange peel garnish that was very fragrant on the nose whenever I took a sip. This was my first White Russian and I actually really liked it! I've been resistant to creamy cocktails because it just seems like a weird combination. I also was just always grossed out by watching The Dude make them with half & half. This version is made with oat milk and house-made kahlua. These cookies are so cute and we're a nice little dessert to follow our light pre-concert meal. These cookies are $3 each or 4/$10. We ended up getting four so we could eat two in the cafe while we finished our second round of cocktails, then we took the remaining two into the show with us for a late night snack if we needed it. I enjoyed the density of the shortbread. It made it cleaner to eat that traditional crumbly shortbread. The fudge was nice and dark which made my mouth water. They are served cold from the display case. These colorful tacos have a nice array of flavors that are perfect together. The bite sized pieces of chicken were covered in aronia-bouron BBQ sauce which was perfectly sweet and sticky. This is my first introduction to arancini and I loved it! It's such a fun Italian word to say and was described deliciously on the menu: "fried & breaded saffron rice balls stuffed with our mozzarella & smoked ham". The balls are so big the first couple bites I just got the saffron rice. It was piping hot but so yummy. The breading was salty and there was just the right amount of saffron to make that rice something special. When I got to the ham and mozzarella center there was an explosion of flavor! The ham and mozzarella combination kind of reminded me of chicken cordon bleu flavors. The cheese was so melty and the ham was so savory. This was one of my favorite things from Vegfest! The orange center was so fruity and sweet. The crust was a wonderful base that was slightly salty. It almost seemed a bit nutty too.
