The desserts here all look amazing and it was super hard to choose which we wanted! But given it is autumn we thought the pumpkin spice cake was fitting 🎃 🍂. It was the most moist and light cake ever, with all those warm autumnal spices and sweet pumpkin coming through so well. The cream-cheese type icing on top was also amazing.

Once again Lucifer Lives has outdone itself with its incredible brunch menu. Even though there are only 3 options, it’s always so hard to pick which you want! This sandwich had vegan crispy chicken, cheddar, chili sauce, sriracha mayo, coleslaw, coriander and red onion with a side of roasted potatoes with ranch and salad. It was beyond delicious. I savoured every bite! 21€

Big plate of Mac and cheese! This was such a huge portion! We couldn’t get through it all. I loooved the breadcrumbs and fried onion on top, giving it such nice texture. The broccoli was also a great addition 🥦. It was super cheesy and creamy, so comforting:) Definitely would’ve been too much for me to eat alone so I’m glad we shared it.

My mom and I shared 2 dishes, the first being this quiche, which was so bomb!! It really has that quiche flavour and texture, and had a distinct bacon-like flavour and cauliflower, with lots of onion too. I loved the crispy puff pastry crust on the side. The salad is a little plain though and could do with some sprucing up. Otherwise this dish was awesome!

Lunch at Lucifer Lives! This horror-themed brunch spot is awesome! Offering a different (small) menu every week, a sandwich, a soup, a quiche and a main dish. I got this matcha to drink, and it was lovely! I really liked the combination of floral and citrusy orange blossom with the earthy matcha! Could have had stronger matcha flavour though as once I mixed it it tasted a little milky. #matchalover Also, Brussels Vegan Festival is coming up Sept 20 and I can’t wait!!

Kimchi egg(less) salad toast 🥪🔥 with scrambled tofu. It didn’t fully convince me… the bread was too thick and a bit hard, plus the strong kimchi flavor (that I like) covered the delicate taste of the tofu. Overall good, but not amazing. I’d give it a 7/10. #kimchi #tofuegg #tofuscramble #toast
