It looks like real mince but somehow tastes so specific. I prefer my home made mince from tofu. However, it's good to keep in the freezer for time when you don't have ... Time.
The other veggie minces I've tried are Quorn mince (which are not particularly nice) and TVP chunks (which are quite nice). V2 mince is actually delicious once you throw in the spices and whatnot - hot, savoury, and texturally very satisfying. Plus it has good protein, fibre, and iron among others 😋 #fakemeat #mince
Versatile. I think anything that can be made with animal mince can be done with this minus the cruelty. I just made pies and they turned out superbly.
Really versatile mince - slightly dry so I use more oil than I normally would when cooking it. Neutral taste so you need to add flavour
