Zha-jiang Noodles

Finally tried the elusive 炸酱面 (zhá jiàng miàn aka lit. fried sauce noodles) for lunch today! Hmmm the portion was tiny as per usual but I appreciate the thought that went into each component aka the veggies in the noodles (刀削面）and the handmade dumplings. That said I wasn’t a fan of the sauce or the texture

This was really yummy. They were very generous with the sauce. The gyoza was satisfyingly crispy. This dish consists of gyoza, shredded carrots and cucumber, minced "meat" and gyoza. The hash brown was a separate order. The hash brown was soft and not crispy and I didn't really enjoy it though. #nuseats #veganuary
