vegan mcspicy burger

It really DOES tastes like a mcspicy. Uncanny. I do wished they had more pan fried, stewed, or baked items on their menu instead of deep fried. :)

Doesn’t taste very much like mcspicy but it does have the kick. It was a huge stack which made it difficult to eat and it can get quite jelak/repetitive flavor.

Ooo this was tasty! It’s nice and spicy, the mushroom was cooked well and not super oily. Definitely a must try

The pictures used for the marketing was very enticing which was why although I was never a mc spicy eater I wanted to try this Opted to do a takeout with my container and they gladly agreed I didn’t realise the patty was mushroom based I thought it was jackfruit even when I was eating it (😅) which was a good thing (I tend to have an averse reaction knowing my food is mushroom) Would’ve enjoyed it more if it was crunchier

Featuring a huge chunky patty made using a generous amount of lion's mane mushrooms 🍄 - - which I guess explains the somewhat hefty price tag! I selected the medium spice level, and found it umami and nicely seasoned (though I have to be honest - I can't really remember the exact taste of McSpicy anymore). 🍗🌶️ Eggless monkeyhead mushrooms often have an unpleasant rubbery texture, but thankfully it wasn't the case here! Beneath the slightly crunchy batter, the inside was 'meaty' and tender, almost resembling a fatty chicken patty. Paired with romaine lettuce, vegan mayonnaise, and melted #violife cheddar #vegancheese tucked between fluffy vegan butter buns. 🍔🥬🧀 So satisfying and hearty! The owner/chef Ash ever mentioned that if she had to choose her last meal before her death, it would be her very own vegan McSpicy burger.
