Mac and Cheese Pesto Pita

if you’re in the mood to stuff your face with carbs, this Pesto Mac & Cheese Pita might be the pick for you! i wasn’t absolutely in love with it because i was expecting some more flavor but it did the trick and even my picky sister liked it too! the bread on the outside was super thick and kinda like a panera bread bowl but in pocket form and then smeared with pesto and stuffed with just-ok creamy mac and cheeze. i definitely think the pesto could’ve really been something game-changing but it honestly faded away with the other tastes. 🧀 #saveveganrestaurants 📍The Vegetable Hunter ~ Harrisburg, PA

Amazing!! This was seriously so good! Every component was perfect, the pita was crispy, mac n cheese was creamy and the pesto delicious.

Order the pita via Grubhub, the bread & the pesto was really good, it was a little odd to eat carbs with carbs and the mac & cheese tasted a lot like potatoes. But it was definitely good.

I had the mac and cheese with pesto, pita sandwich. It was near perfection. Not the usual vegan mac and cheese with tons of store bought vegan cheese, but delicious homemade cheesy sauce. You get a choice of sides with it. I had the chickpea salad. And although I'm not a big fan of cumin, it was still good.
