Beyond burger

Super impressed with this vegan burger, which came in a Peri peri option and delish crispy onions

My partner had this and loved it. There was a delicious tomato relish on the bun. There did seem to be maizena or something added on to the patty to make it crispy and there was still loose powder on the patty which was slightly weird for a R135 burger to have on.

I’m not usually a fan of anything that’s too close to “meat” but allowed myself to be swayed by the abillion reviews I read about this dish 😎 I’m glad I did, because WOW it was so good! GIANT portion 🍔 and everything so fresh and tasty. My first experience with the beyond burger, absolutely freakin delicious!!!

The burger literally came all decked out with a pile of onion rings which looked awesome. There was also some tomato relish under the bun that was a nice touch. The burger could have done with some basting sauce but was tasty nonetheless. I forgot to take a pic before eating and polished the plate hence the menu pic :)
