i’ve been really excited to try this sandwich for some time but i keep getting
distracted by the seasonal specials 😭
finally i was able to try it and i’m super impressed! the chicago diner’s seitan is always perfectly seasoned and textured, and i thought the pepperocinis added a good bite. the yucca chips were perfectly crunchy, although they were a little hard for my taste. i really enjoyed the flavor of this sandwich as a whole, and was impressed that the bun wasn’t too soggy or too crunchy!
the only thing i’m docking a point for is that i found the sandwich itself a bit greasier than usual. my hands were very oily. i would still order this sandwich again though.
