
One typo in the menu (second image), and one more in the abillion entry. What a wonderful world - is it really so difficult to spell #tempeh? 🙄 The concept was creative - #battered and #fried tempeh sticks, ostensibly aiming at #fishfingers. But after the smell and the initial flavour of the batter lure you in, the reality hits that tempeh cannot be made to taste like fish 😕 The greater the climb, the harder the fall 😐 #veganisnotscary, just pick your imitations judiciously 😉
#Tempe is one of my #Indonesian dish that I’m soo glad that I can find it here. This one take it to another level, it is crispy, tangy (thanks to the lemon) and the #veganmayo is complimenting it perfectly!
RM12 for a good helping of deep-fried breadcrumbed tempe. Need I say more? Served with Japanese cucumber and vegan mayo. Best eaten with a squeeze of lemon and a quick dip in the light mayo. Would be tastier if they marinated the tempe before breading and frying!
