Added mapo tofu on the satay bee hoon! Havent had satay bee hoon for awhile and this one satisfies the cravings. 10/10 comfort food as the satay gravy was warm and slighty spicy which goes very well with the beehoon and toppings

$3.50 for this wholesome bowl of beehoon, fried beancurdskin, fishcake and veggies drowned in a sour-spicy-ish peanut sauce! Very worth it and delicious!! #nuseats

Picture is after mixing it up a bit. The satay sauce is actually fairly mellow but in a good way. Not too spicy, not too sweet, and a hint of lemongrass comes through which gives some lightness to an otherwise kinda indulgent dish. I wish it came with a bit more tofu and veg to make it more nutritious, and would happily pay more for that since this was only $3.
