This restaurant is the South Coast's gift to vegans and they don't disappoint with the Tofu Blast.
Tofu, grilled mushroom, spinach, tomato and avo filling in an artisan toastie, with skin-on (yay!) fries (that taste baked... Not oily at all) on the side.
Really chunky portion and so delicious! Beautiful bread, lightly toasted and jam-packed with filling. All ingredients are fresh and keep all their individual flavours.
I especially love the subtle tofu in this. I love tofu in every form and flavour but it's really great how they have not heavily flavoured, marinated or sauced in this, which might have overpowered all the other ingredients.
You get the filing protein, and retain the tofu's own taste, as well as all the other fillings. Perfectly balanced.
This is a winner meal. I love their tofu breakfast so much that I was reluctant to try something new. So glad I did, but now... How will I ever choose between them?
