Peking “duck”

Buono, anche se forse mi aspettavo qualcosa di più 🤷🏻‍♀️ l'anatra in realtà è solo un seitan molto buono, ma non era speziato o glassato in nessun modo particolare Però si sente che gli ingredienti che usano sono di qualità 🥰

It’s been over a year since I’ve been to Tofu Vegan but it remains one of the best vegan places in London. This Peking “Duck” dish is a great way to provide a classic Chinese dish in a vegan form. The duck pieces were crispy and slightly resembled duck in taste but more so in texture. I always think that the star of the show for duck pancakes is the sauce which didn’t disappoint. #veganduck #chinesefood

Tofu Vegan was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint! We got vegetable spring rolls, Peking ‘duck’, Tofu and mushrooms in garlic sauce and noodles. They were all delicious, the ‘duck’ was very convincing and tasted the same whilst also having a similar texture to the real thing. The service was great very fast and very friendly. We had to wait ten mins before getting a table because we didn’t pre book. So if you don’t fancy waiting definitely pre book! A very amazing vegan meal that really makes you feel like you went for a Chinese takeaway.

Visited London recently and went to Tofu Chinese. Wow it was amazing and I loved this starter.
