Affogato Chickpea Coffee Ice Cream

Quite good. Rather sweet but that's what desserts are for. Tasted of coconut milk. Coffee was too to be served on the ice cream.

The ice cream on its own was so good. Thick and creamy. The espresso was a great complement to the icecream.

It’s got a peculiar taste to it, not quite sure how to quantify it but it was a nice ending to the meal. Was still peckish but felt quite full (and caffeinated) after this dessert. If you’re sensitive to caffeine, I wouldn’t recommend you having. Definitely recommend the bistro!

Also pictured, is the Affogato Choco Coco Chickpea Ice Cream set. Both were very delicious and not overly sweet. However, I preferred the chickpea one for its uniqueness! (:

Personally, I preferred the chickepea coffee ice cream flavour to this one but my friends liked this one more. The chocolate flavour was average for a choco ice cream and needed to be more intense for an affogato IMO. This was also chewy and perhaps they add tapioca starch to get that texture.
