Mitoboru Maki

first time having vegan ramen, beyond making it at home! soup was flavourful and the ‘pork’ pieces were pretty realistic. (sushi pictured isn’t vegan)

This is the only dish that I really dislike in Herbivore. It tastes very fatty and unhealthy. #jaan

Best dish we love so far! Beautifully presented and the ‘meatballs’ texture was awesome. Love the crispy sushi rice as well. It’s a surprise dish.

This was really interesting! Meatball was a really convincing texture. Very western take on the sauce. Apart from your usual mock prawn, cucumber and avocado in the maki, the sides are partially fried but not too oily. Really nice treat. Great for sharing.
