A pleasant discovery in the Reggio Emilia hills. We showed up unannounced at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday; the very kind girl who greeted us and the cook went out of their way to offer us viable and really good alternatives, including some vegan sliced meats! I'm honest, I've rarely encountered such helpfulness in an establishment.
Besides the kindness which is always appreciated, the food is really good: light and digestible fried dumpling (tipical of Emilia), fried mushrooms and polenta with truffles spectacular (tipical of Appennino).
We were full but could have also had a vegan dessert, apple fritters.
We look forward to coming back, this time giving advance notice!
Highly recommended to anyone, she told us that If you call in advance she can prepare even more things 🍓🌸
