Perhaps. I can’t tell if the #fish is made in-store or store-bought. Ooohhh weeee! This place knows how to make their #mockfish 😆 I checked repeatedly before to ensure it was, in fact, a #veganfish 🐟 It’s all so reassuring since I’ve seen them physically make it in-house 😉 They’re format of this unseasoned undressed #sidesalad is interesting as they seem to sell themselves as a #healthyfood place 😙 I was also pleasantly surprised to find their usual #purplerice was embellished with chunks of #sweetpotato 😋 This sweet monochromatic rice was the perfect (albeit slightly heavy) sidekick to the hero of our dish! At last, comes the main show… THE #fish !! This batter was everything you want in a #fried #asian #protein 😝 #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease because this was just so gosh darn juicy!! It reminds me of their deep fried oyster mushrooms but here, you get so much more moisture 🤤 From the inside out, it was just so well-salted 🤪 RM9 for this quality and attention to detail might just be worth it in my book 🤓 The portions always look kind of small here but I always leave #satisfied and stuffed 😜
