I know this is not a typical dutch sweet and that I could have tried a piece of apple cake for example but I had never try a real american donut I was so curious! I took a simple Boston creme donut filled with Bavarian creme that is a vanilla cream, glazed with dark chocolate.
It was so perfectly fried, and tasted like a real fried greasy donut and I liked it, the cream was good but definitely too sweet for me.
So filling, I must say. Nearly 300kcal!
I think I satisfied my curiosity and next time I'll take a empty one to try.
The shop itself is very little I haven't seen tables with chairs so I don't really remember if there are any. You have to order with a touchscreen so the interaction with the people who work there are minimal.
