Crab Noodles 素螃蟹面

A hidden gem in lucky plaza, located inside baobao food court (which is itself inconspicuous) on level 1. The gravy tastes like a combination of sweet, sour and spicy, the portion is good, and the laksa noodles go well with the mock fish, pieces of seafood tofu, tomato, bean sprout etc. 😋

Belly belly good meal.. also affordable. Especially when they are located in Orchard Road. 👍🏻🤍🫶🏻

I’d pay good money for the #crabcakes they put in this! …and at S$6.80 for this #bunrieu I’m sure that I did 🙌 I’d call the taste pretty authentic 😋 Just about as sweet as you’d expect a #crab noodle to be 🦀 I’d love more toppings though — The #crabcake unfortunately is the only one in the #broth plus a single tiny triangle of #tofu 📐 and some #mushroom 🍄🍄‍🟫 ps. while I opted for onion in this you can still also get it #alliumfree 🧅 I love that you can get the option! This is the first stall you see when you enter this foodcourt. Very nice vegan pho! The broth was quite sweet but not in a bad way. Well balanced flavour to it. The crab cake was very special and tasty, made of tofu and some other stuff. Had loads of fresh mushrooms, veggies and bean sprouts too. There were also some fried tofu in it. Very filling and tasted quite healthy, Served with vegetarian chilli sauce which had a prawny flavour, not really spicy. The Viet Auntie was very friendly and welcoming. Very affordable!

Vegan Bún Riêu! Tomato and pineapple soup that was piquant with a sweet-sour profile that wasn't overwhelmingly tangy~ 🍅🍍 Filled with vermicelli noodles, 'fishcake' tofu, and shimeji mushrooms. 🍜🍄 Loved the housemade 'crabmeat chunk' which was firm yet tender, and tastier than the one from The Kind Bowl in my opinion! 🦀 Served with their homemade vegan sambal chilli sauce too. Vegan Pho is a humble food court stall in Orchard serving authentic food at wallet-friendly prices. The young man shared that the auntie has been cooking vegan Vietnamese food for over 30 years. 👩🏻‍🍳🇻🇳 They're currently sharing a space with an omni stall but with separate cooking equipment; they're hoping to move to a stall of their own and to expand their menu.
