This dish is the most amazing and innovative vegan creation I’ve ever had!
Never have I reviewed a dish while as emotionally divided as I am standing before you today. This dish tasted AMAZING, I seriously am in awe of how good it was. The lemon sauce drizzled over the capers, baby broccoli, and seitan was great. The texture and taste of the seitan was very authentic to a chicken cut, I honestly think it would convince some hardcore carnist to consider the switch. The downside is that the portion size is SO TINY. I think I get the atmosphere Coletta is going for, this SoHo-vibe, holier-than-thou, Michelin-star-wannabe ristorante, where the food portion is scared to touch anywhere close to the edge of the plate. This was extremely expensive for the portion size.
So good! I have eaten many of those in many vegan restaurant and this is definitely the best one I had!
