Al Baba Sababa Vegan Pizza with Hummus Base

Such a cool concept and a great flavour combination! 🍕 This pizza has a hummus base and is topped with grilled baby marrow, caramelised onion, butternut and a balsamic reduction. Visually very pretty and colourful. I really enjoyed this pizza but would have preferred more caramelised onion to balance out the toppings, especially as the pieces of butternut were quite large and plentiful. Overall a really enjoyable and unique pizza. I had a few slices left and our waitress took them to put in a doggy bag, except I got something even better - a swan bag (see second photo)! 🦢 Such a cute surprise. Ferdinando’s has beautiful and vibrant decor with a friendly atmosphere. The service was lovely and we had a great time. Already excited to go back! This must be the best vegan pizza I have ever tasted! The butternut and caramelized onions was so sweet and tasty, I loved every bite. And on Mondays you get a free glass of wine with every meatless pizza ordered. I'll probably go back every Monday for this pizza. I'm already thinking of getting this pizza for takeaway sometime today. This is really so so so good!
