fulfilling Hi abillion! I went to the Veganburg branch at Woodleigh Singapore . It is part of Vegan Dining Club based on the description shown on the app map. But when I mentioned to the staff, he wasn’t aware of such abillion Vegan Dining Club & the perks available for abillion member. The first chair I found by the bin on my way somewhere . I had to grab it and take it home give it a coat of paint and better clothing .
The second chair I paid 20 € for in a junk shop . Stripped it of old dark varnish more

antonellaboschi Quantt da o ero piccola dopo aver mangiato l’albicocca schiacciavo il nocciolo e lo mangiavo proprio come fosse una mandorla, è un po’ amarognolo dato che contiene una sostanza tossica… ma in piccola quantità!
Infatti non mi ha mai fatto male.

marabasso Anche da noi si usa farlo, anche se il noccioli delle albicocche sono davvero molto duri e non è facile romperli.
I semi delle albicocche sono le armelline, usate in pasticceria ad esempio per preparare gli amaretti, biscotti molto noti qui in Piemonte. Si usano anche per ricavarne un olio usato in cosmetica.
Però le armelline crude devono essere consumate con molta moderazione perché, come scrivi tu, contengono una sostanza tossica ☠️.
Ovviamente non è il caso di questo latte che ne contiene solo l’1,4% e probabilmente non crude (la cottura ne neutralizza la tossicità).
Cercando in rete ho trovato queste info:
“[…] I semi di albicocca contengono amigdalina (come le mandorle amare) sostanza che una volta ingerita si scompone producendo cianuro. A causa di ciò, è importante fare attenzione all'assunzione e rispettare le dosi consigliate. Secondo l'Autorità Europea per la Sicurezza Alimentare (EFSA), l'assunzione di tre semi di albicocca al giorno per gli adulti non comporta rischi significativi. Tuttavia, per i bambini piccoli, è consigliabile limitare l'assunzione a mezzo seme. […]”.1 likeReply
tina360 I would love to try this! I've been eating dried apricots a lot lately so I think it's brilliant that they could use the waste from these products into something yummy! I thought the apricot kernels had high quantities of cyanide producing compounds, but maybe those are destroyed during processing. ♻️🌏🌱💚4 likesReply
