Lankan Burgher au Mirisata — Avis de pdxveg (22 août 2024)

This was inspired by "lamprais," a famously decadent dish made by Sri Lanka's Burgher community and a marriage of Dutch and Sri Lankan cuisines. It had a frikkadel-spiced 🐮-free Impossible Foods patty, wambattu moju spread (pickled eggplant), seeni sambal (tamarind sweet onions), ash plantain chips, melty Field Roast Chao cheese, and Follow Your Heart Vegenaise, on a classic bun in place of the traditional rice. Bursting with lively, vibrant flavors, this one-of-a-kind crave-worthy burger was a brilliant idea. It is a special for Portland Burger Week, which runs through Sunday, 8/25/24. All the burgers created for this event are only $8.
