Just reading about a salad on a menu, it's a bit hard for me to get excited. Even coming out, this salad didn't look like anything special. Eating it however.... This was incredible! This salad has fennel, pistachios, blood oranges, dill, and mint. It's served on top of a lime yogurt. All of these ingredients make this salad so interesting and unique. It's peppery, citrusy, tangy, and refreshing. The yogurt was really incredible. It almost reminded me of key lime pie. @jonok brought up that it reminded him of the Taramasalata from Anixi in NYC and I totally agree! That's a huge compliment because that dip was one of the best things I've eaten.
This was the third course of the 2024 Valentine's Day prix fixe menu. $90 for two people.
