This consisted of tender, meaty house-made seitan-based slow-cooked hand-pulled carne mechada standing in for Venezuelan 🐮-based shredded beef sautéed with aromatic spices inside a golden homemade cornmeal arepa that was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Served with a side of crispy, savory tostones and house-made guasacaca sauce, a zesty, herby, creamy green sauce made with fresh cilantro, peppers, and a blend of seasonings. With such incredible 🌱-based tender meatiness, this was very satisfying.
