Cali Burger au French Meadow Bakery & Cafe — Avis de Iszy (14 juin 2023)

I think the server may have misheard me because I wanted the Cowboy burger but got the Cali burger... Maybe their names are just a bit too similar. I'm fine with it though because I was between the two anyway. Guacamole on the Cowboy would have locked it in though. I think she also heard that I wanted a gluten free bun? Because this definitely seemed gluten free. I'm not sure how, but whatever. The Cali burger has their house-made veggie burger, guacamole, wasabi mayo, tomato, cucumber, arugula, and chipotle cashew sauce (I'm realizing it's the same sauce from that calamari). This is a good choice for summer. I think I would have liked it more with the gluten-full bun, but I still enjoyed myself more than I usually do at French Meadow! They added a very generous amount of guacamole which is very appreciated. And I always value when a restaurant makes their own veggie burger rather than just using a Beyond or Impossible patty.
