Review of Vegan Cream Cheese Alternative - Trader Joe's by oolaf-13

I have to admit I like Violife cheeses the best, but they're expensive. So we buy this Trader Joe's cream cheese sometimes. Up until now this cream cheese has reminded me a little bit of the tofuti cream cheese both in texture and taste. I don't know if Trader Joe's has changed the recipe, but the last two times we bought this it's been pretty awful. It's very stiff, almost rubbery in texture, and it doesn't taste anything like cream cheese.
So I guess I'll be watching out for sales on Violife.
