I've been getting more into ginger but felt that keeping and buying ginger root was really inconvenient. This jarred minced ginger helps me add ginger so easily now!the tiny jar is also great for storing sauces and dressing. However, I did see a tip that said to keep ginger root in the freezer so it lasts longer and is easier to shave into dishes, so maybe after this is done I'll do that.
I love adding this to stir frys with garlic and soy sauce. I mixed some ginger with miso, soy sauce, and sesame oil last night to marinate some tofu as well.

I keep fresh ginger root in a paper bag at room temperature. In general it corresponds to my frequence of use. It's true that in the hot season, they sometimes dry out.

So true tho grating up ginger root is kinda inconvenient so it gets neglected in my fridge and just shrivels up sadly
