Looong time ago, when I was a child and was still forced to eat meat by my parents, rookworst, which is a #smoky 'ham like?' #sausage, was one of the things I enjoyed the taste of. So I decided to try this vegan one in my splitpea soup. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the soup.
It was okay, tastes a little bit smoky and I like the consistency, but I would've enjoyed my soup just as much without it. Probably won't buy again, unless they're on a crazy offer or something, but it's definitely not bad.
