Review of Fermented stinky tofu at Mini Star by eritakay

I had Hong Kong-style stinky tofu for the first time. Pretty unique texture; almost gooey on the inside, coated with a thick, crunchy layer on the outside. If youâre not comfortable with the usual stinky tofu like Man Kou Xiang or Makan Vegan, these will hit you like the purest essence of wet garbage. I love it, but my friends arenât too comfortable with it.
âš Look out for the âVGâ logo on their online menu for options. The fermented cucumbers (aka kimchi) are vegan-friendly but contain alliums. Red sauce is slightly sweeter than the ones you get at YTF.
