Review of Epic Mature Cheddar Flavour Block - Violife by julesbateman
If I had to pick my favourite Violife cheese, it would be this one! I tried it two Christmases ago and was no longer able to find it, assuming it was a Christmas special. I know you can find it all year round elsewhere, but here where I live it seems you can only find it over Christmas!
I like its rich, mature flavour, so much better than the regular cheddar block. It reminds me of Gouda or such. I like to enjoy if with a nice crunchy piece of sourdough bread, accompanied by black olive tapenade and sundried tomatoes. Thumb up!
