Review of Vegetarian Mock Duck - Wu Chung by katelouisepowell

WHY have I never bought this before?! This was delicious! If you’re a fan of uncannily meaty textures then this is for you, it’s rich and substantial and almost “fatty”, it fries up quickly and easily and has a decent flavour to it even before you add a sauce or seasoning. I think it’s what a lot of Chinese takeaways use as their mock meat options because it was very familiar to me. It’s also not that expensive and is fairly easy to find, I found it in my local Asian store and have been seeing it on the shelf in a few different places for years now. It was so good in ramen and I can’t wait to try it in a stir fry
