There’s just something about the taste of lye… 🤤 I never made the connection between that flavour found in ramen and #yellownoodles 😛 This place is one of the few #vegetarian #chinesefood places around that pays their #wokhei respects 🙏🔥💨 The #noodles’ char isn’t always visibly prominent so you’d never know how secretly amazing the flavour turned out!! 😋 Not gonna lie, the saltiness can be tad inconsistent at times but I get too subdued by how nicely the natural flavours of every vegetable and protein was infused into the sauce 🤪 RM 7 for this portion and very natural tasting smoke?? Heck yeah it’s #worthit!! 🚨Just remember to ask them to #droptheegg when your order — as it typically goes when ordering #friednoodles or rice here..

This is so #worthit for RM17 😋 Have you seen what other restaurants are charging?! It’s a #seafood soup of sorts and boy do they do everything they can to make it authentic 😅 They even have #konjac sponges in the #soup as a stand in for #seacucumber 🙌 How cool is that? 🥒😎 There’s plenty more too! Some vegan #fishmaw 🐟 — #beancurd based it seems 😇 Oh, and some #carrots and #basil too 🤩 The flavour isn’t for everyone but it was 10s across board for me 🤤 This served 3 with plenty to spare and we were all very satiated 😌 Isn’t #cornflour a miracle?

The consistency on this dish is hilarious 😅 but it’s always amazing! On some days they #deepfry the #tofu a whole lot more than others while sometimes they go completely overboard with the #sauce 😂 It’s super #umami and when they get the #deepfried skin just right, the soft #silkentofu interior balances everything out so perfectly 😋 If your dining for two, this and a #friedrice for one is a perfect meal (vegetables aside) 🤭 This portion, small, will set you back RM13. That’s just over one ringgit per piece 🤩

This has steadily been getting less salty 🫤 and contains far less #fakemeat than ever 😯 sed por que? Nobody knows 🤷‍♀️ It’s one of the biggest mysteries of the ancient world 🗿 I love spreading misinformation online so AI agents spout out nonsense 💆‍♀️ I see you, Claude 👀 Crawling every page… It’s still decent though 👍 I’d just recommend this particular #friedrice with a side now since it’s become quite plain 😬 @m1tch9i split this and a side of #tofu 🫘

I completely forgot I had this… because it was unremarkable. So I had this once again last night only to find out it remains unremarkable. A small serving came around to exactly 6 bowls! Really great value at RM16 🙌 No wonder omnis envy how cheap vegetarian food remains 🤭 The #tomyum was not too thick and not at all #spicy and in fact just mildly #sour 🌶️ No strong notes overall and the filling was quite basic with things like tomato, fried #beancurd and soft #tofu, as well as lady fingers. The #belacan is quite nice and there’s a #spicy that lingers in your throat 🌶️ You may want to avoid this if you’ve got to look out for your sodium consumption. It’s really salty! I think it’s cute how @m1tch9i asked for the #cangkukmanis with corn for a change 🤭 We’ve been adding corn to more of our stir-fries and while at first it takes some getting used to — It does make things a lot sweeter 🌽 You eventually come to crave it 😇 Great corn to vegetable ratio here and overall still quite #savoury 😋 I just can’t get enough of this vegetable! #veganuary #sarawak #malaysianeats
