Deep Fried Jackfruit And Coconut Rice

Deserted Cactus doesn’t have a formal menu. It’s one chef who makes what she feels like making (with lots of love) but there is always deep fried jackfruit which is sooo freakin’ good. This meal was the jackfruit, coconut rice, fried dumplings, seasoned cabbage, stewed kidney beans and a salad. I got a regular size and I was stuffed! The portions are extremely generous.

A little place in a shopping arcade, friendly and quick service. There was just one dish on offer that day, and we weren't disappointed. Really tasty, and great value. We'll go back!
