A beautifully presented vegan platter which I originally planned to share with one of my friends (she is mostly vegan). However, it looked too good so our other 2 friends decided to dig in. Always happy to share the love, but this was soooo good, I didn’t really want to 🤪 All fruits and veggies are grown on their own farm, besides the salt and pepper. The marinade of the tomatoes was out of this world delicious. I don’t think I have seen the #vegancheese on the platter somewhere else so it could be their own. The homemade #preserve gave the right amount of sweetness for the end. Pair it with their delicious wines. The manager of the restaurant double checked, all white wines are #veganfriendly . I don’t drink red, I didn’t ask but she said our wines are vegan friendly so I assume that includes red too.

You can ask for the gnocchi on the menu to be vegan, it’s not listed as an option though so have to ask the waiter. It was delicious and soft with an olive oil dressing, rocket and mushrooms.

Sheer delight is the only way to describe how this #cabbage was prepared The slow-braised cabbage was tender but still firm enough , and so perfectly flavoured , I guess there is nothing more delicious than #freshlyharvested #vegetables Service as always is friendly and so professional The setting is so peaceful Price R90

Again an amazing dish in this beautiful estate. The estate also sells meat and charcuterie and overall not many vegan options also in the shops. This dish was healthy and tasty though.

Lovely refreshing albeit a bit sweet. I was a bit envious of the chocolate cake offered to the non-vegans but this was a light dessert and I enjoyed it!

Lovely sandwich with a crisp salad and the best salad dressing! Had this at a babyshower, very tasty.

I actually enjoyed it. There were only two vegan options on the menu and they both had seitan but never mind. The real champions were the fresh vegetables and herbs and fruity marmalade made from the garden.
