My favorite thing about these burger patties is that they use more wholesome ingredients than a lot of the other burgers available. These Tex Mex patties have a lot of Tex Mex flavors that can be paired with burger toppings like avocado and tomatoes. Unfortunately these patties don't have a great texture- they are a bit mushy. They also are expensive and each patty is individual packaged which is a bit wasteful with plastic. I would buy these more often if they were cheaper because I would prefer to eat these over the extra processed stuff.

I ❤️ Dr. Praeger’s plant-based products and have been trying to eat more whole food veggie burgers versus some of the more processed versions I’ve eaten my fair-share of. This particular product does have expeller pressed canola oil in it, but I’ve noticed some of their faux chicken products are made with a higher grade oil like avocado oil. 🥑 I’d love it if they used higher grade oils for all of their products! Aside from the cheaper oil in the ingredients, these Tex Mex burgers are quite pure and made with whole vegetables, seasonings, corn meal, corn starch, and oat bran. Dr. Praeger products pride themselves on using only pronounceable ingredients, and they are certified #vegan and #nongmo, offering 5g of #protein per serving and 6g of #fiber. I recommend these if you want a burger but also want a good serving of veggies in it. 🫘 + 🧅 +🥕 + 🫑 + 🥦 + 🌶️ = 🍔 🎉 #drpraegers #plantbased #madeinnewjersey #madeinelmwoodpark #dogsofabv #dogsofabillion #seymoureugenenorthway #vegan #plantbased #drpraeger #texmex #veggieburger #burger
