Organic Medjool Dates

Why did I wait so long to make these classic healthy-ish snicker-like treats?! I've heard about the trick of pairing peanut butter, peanuts, and melted chocolate with dates before, but it took my mom to make them for me to actually try it. They're wonderful! I plan on going to the store today to get some dates for my house to try this on my own. These dates come whole, so you can take out the pits yourself. They tasted super fresh and I love their natural sweetness! I like these just fine! However, I really don’t think they taste any different than the dates I can pick up in bulk at my supermarket. Also, the “organic” label doesn’t do much for me when it comes to dates — as Dr. Greger says, the date industry doesn’t really use pesticides anyway. They’re quite a bit more expensive than the dates I pick up locally but also indistinguishable.
