No egg and cress sandwich

Available at Sainsbury's. Good sub for egg, really nice tofu scramble. :) I probably won't get again since a little expensive but would only if I had too (in a rush or smth). Plus some photos of me looking around for vegan options. :) 30/11/21

I always appreciate an sandwich option that isn't falafel & hummus. Even better, a tofu option! 👍 Tastes exactly how I remember egg and cress! Lovely, filling is delicious and mildly seasoned. Brown bread is high fibre and tofu is high protein. A cheap on-the-go option. 👎 Could do with more generous filling for the price. I would never eat type of sandwich pre vegan because I was never big on eggs, but I know what the filling tasted like. I can’t believe how close this is! I had to keep reminding myself it wasn’t egg so I could finish it. Not that it wasn’t good, just that eggs always weirded me out. A hard to find but decent sandwich 😊 #veganisnotscary

And another one! Again I’m so happy to finally see these sandwiches with decent vegan alternatives that aren’t just a salad with two slices of bread.

Not quite eggy for me, so I added a bit of balck salt. Not a fan of soft bread so got it toased a bit and it was perfect. A pleasant sandwich however wouldn't buy for full price.
