I was a little surprised that their veggie burger was vegan but they assured me
that it was. It came with a mayonnaise looking sauce on the patty so I asked again and they once again assured me the burger and sauce were both vegan. The burger was not great but definitely passable for a regular fast food style cafe along the seawall of Stanley Park in Vancouver. It did taste slightly of fish to me which could mean they used seaweed in the patty, or that it was not cooked separately from the fish or meat patties, OR it could simply be that my friend ordered the salmon burger and our 2 paper-wrapped burgers were touching each other in the box they came in. I think I could have enjoyed this burger more if I wasn't so suspicious of it! Anyway if it genuinely is a vegan burger as they assured me multiple times it was, then I'm at least super happy that vegan options are available at such a place. There are so many amazing vegan burger places in Vancouver that the standard is super high, so I cannot give this burger a great rating. It was basic, tasted OK, filled me up, and was at least available on their menu. I'll support any new vegan items that pop up in unexpected places!
