I returned to Small Hours and was happy to hear they had this Seed to Surf enoki mushroom "snow crab" back in stock. I knew I'd like it more than the white fish made from celeriac. The enoki mushroom has such a distinct texture. It's stringy and meaty. It soaked up the flavor of the oil a lot more than the celeriac did. This oily little snack was nice on top of bread paired with a light, fruity wine. The thin strands of mushroom did get stuck in my teeth, which wasn't pleasant, but otherwise I very much enjoyed it!
